Wishlist #2

Hello lovely people of the internet!

Sooo, I've not posted in quite a while, I've been super busy with work at the moment so I figured I'd blog while I have a night off!

It's payday next week, this means super shopping trip so I'm going to show you what's on this months wishlist, enjoy!

Seriously, This parka is gorgeous!! I saw it in Topshop the other week and fell in love, I debated whether to buy it but changed my mind and instantly regretted my decision! I'll be going back to pick it up next week

I finally bought a Tangle Teezer and I'm hooked (I'll be reviewing soon), this one is made so it can be used in the shower to untangle those stubborn knots we all end up getting! At £13.99, yes it is a little bit expensive but well worth the money

Oh my lord, how gorgeous is this cardigan?! It's blummin' freezing in the UK at the moment and this is just what I need! I'm addicted to anything with a bit of fur, fake of course!

I got this in a gift set two christmases ago and I've just ran out of it which makes me very sad! It smells unbelievable and the compliments I get when I use it are so nice, I need more!!!

I'm not jumping on the current Yankee Candle band wagon as I've loved them for years before they became popular, thanks Instagram! This one is just adorable, Bunnies and Yankee? What more could I ask for?!

And finally, I realised my post seems to be rabbit orientated but I love rabbits so sorry! This gorgeous light is from The Beauty Closet which is run by the amazingly talented brogantatexo, as soon as payday comes around next week, I'll be straight on there to place my order!

Let me know what's on your wish lists this month

Philosophy - The Cookbook

Hey guys, Hope you've all had a brilliant weekend!

I spent my weekend celebrating Valentines day a week early, I won't be with my boyfriend on valentines day as we live in different cities, he's at university so we figured we'd hop on a train and visit our favourite place in the world, York!

We stumbled across a Tkmaxx and decided to pop in and see whether there was any bargains to be found and Oh My! Looking through the beauty section and I glimpsed the red check of Philosophy's Christmas packaging!! I didn't even look what it was, I grabbed it and held on for dear life! I am a massive Philosophy fan, I bought my first ever Hope In A Jar from QVC and never looked back!

This normally retails at £17.00 but in Tkmaxx it was £12.99 BUT I managed to get it for £10.00 due to a tiny imperfection with the top of the packaging where someone had dropped it, Bargain! I ran to the till so fast my boyfriend couldn't work out where I had disappeared to. They also had the six piece Purity Made Simple gift set and two full size Cinnamon Buns bath and shower body wash set, all in gorgeous packaging!

So this is what was inside, Granted they are mini's but they are perfect for travelling with and I'll be popping one in my gym bag!

Old Fashioned Eggnog

Peppermint Bark

Cinnamon Buns

And my personal favourite Hot Buttered Rum, To die for!

Once I've used these I'll post my reviews but seriously guys, well worth a look in Tkmaxx, They make the perfect gift and at that price, stock up and save them for next Christmas!

Leave me comments if you've tried Philosophy and what you think of it

Love

What's in my make up bag?

Happy Tuesday everyone!! It's a cold and incredibly dull day outside but I have the day off work and I want to be productive so I figured BLOG POST!

I love watching 'What's in my bag/make up bag on YouTube so I figured I would do my own.

I picked up this Cath Kidston pencil case last month on my first ever trip to Meadowhall but I thought it was far too cute to be used as a pencil case! From what I remember it was around £6.00 but I cannot find it anywhere on the Cath Kidston website so I think it may have been discontinued, somebody correct me if I'm wrong!

Now before I go into detail, I apologise for the awful red background on my pictures! I couldn't find a pretty background where I wouldn't loose the items to the print!
So the first item in my morning ritual is the Collection 2000 Pressed Powder in number 3 Translucent, this was £2.99 but I got it free with my advantage card points from Boots! Everyone loves a freebie right?! I love this powder so much, I find it really hard to find a powder which covers my freckles up or at least partially covers them and this works wonders, especially for the price it is.

After this I move on to either my Benefit Silky Powder eyeshadow in Moody or I use the eyeshadows in my Benefit She's So Jetset! kit depending on what day it is! I use the Silky powder eyeshadow if I'm at work that day as it's a muted brown which isn't too dark as I hate wearing dark make up for work! Neutral all the way guys! This was reduced from £15.00 to £7.00 in House Of Fraser just before Christmas on account of the box been slightly damaged in the corner, Bargain!

Or if I have a day off work, I use my Benefit She's So Jetset! pallet. This was a Christmas present to myself as I had been lusting after it for ages! The eyeshadow's in this are so pigmented and make the perfect smokey eye. I love this set, I wanted to try They're Real! for ages and was so happy when I found out this came with a mini, I'm nearly out so it may be time to splurge and buy the full size one, and the mini Porefessional is just so cute but runs out so quickly!

I don't bother with eyeliner, I've never found one I liked enough to stick with so eyeliner is only used on special occasions! My mascara on the other hand is a big must! I found the Rimmel Exta Super Lash in 101 Black Black on offer in Boots last week for £3.99 and was needing another so I thought I would give it a go, granted it's not the best mascara in the world but it does the job! It's not clumpy or thick but requires two coats to make my eyes really stand out.

And finally, a girl can't leave home without lipgloss! I got the Barry M Limited Edition Lip Gloss free with an Impulse body spray which was £3.00. They seem to do these duo's every month and are well worth investing in as the lip gloss smells AMAZING! It's not sticky or lumpy like some lip glosses can be and is so sparkly! It's the ultimate girly lip gloss in my opinion.

And there you have it, what's in my make up bag! I'm not the sort of person who spends a fortune on make up and I prefer cheap high street make up to some of the top quality make up but I wouldn't say no if someone bought me MAC, who would!

So guys, what's in your make up bags?
Love
Jess  xo

Celebrity crush tag

Hello Lovelies!

I'm back with a shiney new laptop (ahhh!) so I'll be posting more often now! I was watching YouTube videos and I came across Dionne from BeautyStartsWithin's Celebrity Crush TAG and felt like doing my own so here are the questions!

1. Who was your young celebrity crush?
2. Celebrity Girl Crush?
3. Celebrity Crush over 40?
4. Boyband Crush?
5. Teenage Jailbait crush!?

I honestly cannot remember who my celebrity crush was when I was younger! I was obsessed with SMTV live so I would have to say Ant and Dec, who can't resist Dec's cute little face!!

My celebrity girl crush will always be either Megan Fox or Amanda Seyfried, I saw Les Miserables yesterday with a couple of people from work and just fell in love with Amanda Seyfried all over again! Megan Fox was always gorgeous in Transformers, Just saying!

Anyone who knows me well knows I have four old man crushes and I am not ashamed by anyone of these! Number one, Robert Downey Jr. Oh my god, the beard, the eyes, the voice, and he's Iron Man! What more can a girl want!? Number two is Jason Statham! For a man of 45 he is seriously gorgeous!! I've saved the weirdest two till last, Hugh Laurie and Alan Rickman. Hello, House! Hugh Laurie just makes House for me! I think my love for Alan Rickman stemmed from Harry Potter.

I don't really have a boyband crush, I think if I was to pick one it would be Danny O'donoghue from The Script! I'm seeing them live in March and I go weak at the knees for an Irish accent!

Teenage Jailbait crush?! This is obviously an American tag! I don't have one, don't do bad boys!

So who are your crushes? Can anyone beat my weird over 40's?

Love
Jess xo

15 questions tag!

Hiya lovies!

I'm going to do a 15 question About Me tag, basically just to introduce myself to you! I love watching these on YouTube and because I don't do Vlogs (No confidence at all!) I figured it would be easiest to do it on here!:)

1. Are you named after anyone?
I wish! My parents were very unimaginative when they picked my name, I'm pretty sure most people who were born in 1993 are called Jessica!

2. When was the last time you cried?
Yesterday! Waving my boyfriend Alex back off to uni, this happens every single time he leaves, I figured it would be easier after two years of him living away but evidently not!!

Me and the special one!

3. What's your favourite song at the moment?
I never have a 'favourite song', I like most music! although I have The Scripts, #3 album on repeat at the moment!

4. What's your favourite drink?
I'm a big tea drinker, atleast 10 cups a day! milk and two sugars!

5. What would you name your children?
I think most girls have their whole future planned out, how they want their weddings, their childrens names and how many they want and I'm no different! I want two girls and a boy, Elsie emiliea and Eliska and either Chase or Eithan.

6. What's your favourite perfume?
At the moment it's between Lady Gaga's Fame and Prada Candy! Each of which I'm down to the last couple of inches! :(

7. Where do you like to shop?
Oh this could take a while! I am currently loving Primark and H&M but I think if my pay packet stretches that far I love ASOS and Hollister (I'm a Hollister convert!) I love TKMaxx, such good nail bargains and their shoe collections are amazing!!

8. What are your favourite television shows?
For all you british readers, I am loving Mr Selfridge! It's just so good!! I also like House and The Big Bang Theory (Who doesn't like watching Sheldon?!)
.
9. What phone do you have?
Ok random but I have the Samsung Galaxy ace 2!

10. What are your favourite books/authors?
I'm currently in the process of switching between two different books, When god was a rabbit by Sarah Winman and reflected in you by Sylvia Day! My favourite authors have to be Lee Childs and Victoria Hislop.

11. Do you have any pets?
No but I want NEED a rabbit in my life! My boyfriend has two Guineas and a Greyhound so I consider them my pets too!

12. What's your favourite flower?
This is a coincidence because I'm a trained florist!! I have a few favourite flowers, I love David Austin Roses (This man is seriously amazing!) and I also love Calla Lilies!

Shameless plug of my work right here!

13. What do you work as?
I'm currently a sales associate for Staples, and I seriously love working with so much stationary! (No matter how much I moan about it!)

14. Are you a spender or a saver?
Ha what a Joke, I'm a serious spender! I need to change this though!!

15. Do you have any siblings?
I have one brother, Luke who's ten this year! Time has most defiantly flown by!

And there we go! now you all know about me, I tag whoever actually reads this to do it too!
Sorry about the incredibly long post, I'm going to go and catch up on all my missed telly now

Love

Weekly wishlist #1

Hello Lovelies!

I figured that I'd make my first blog post a wishlist as everyone seems to be doing them on blogs and on Instagram, I've even seen a few on Facebook too!

Every time I've been out shopping I've been debating whether to buy a Tangle Teezer or not! I've read some amazing reviews but I don't know whether I can justify spending £10.20 on what is basically just a really amazing hairbrush!
What with all the horrible snow we've been getting in the UK over the past couple of weeks I figured it was time to invest in a decent wooly hat! I saw this one in Topshop while I was on my break from work yesterday! It was so soft and matches the colour of my new coat perfectly!
I love anything cat related and these socks are just so cute and are defiantly worth £3.50, a girl can never have too many socks! my drawers are full of them!!
This seems to be on everyone's wish lists, Beneift They're Real! I got Benefit She's So Jetset for Christmas and it came with a mini They're Real and I am completely in love with it! It makes my eyes look so much wider, defiantly what I need when I'm working early mornings!
I am a huge fan of nails Inc (200 varnishes and counting!) and I've seen such brilliant reviews for the leather look varnish, it's such a versatile look and is right on trend for this year.
Finally, I bought my first ever Hollister piece at the weekend after my first trip to Meadowhall with my boyfriend and now I'm hooked!

Let me know what's on your wish lists this month!
